The Tibetan Parliamentary & Policy Research Centre (TPPRC) based in New Delhi invites application for the post of EXECUTIVE INFORMATION CUM RESEARCH
Job Profile:
Research work
Managing TPPRC website (English)
Designing and Printing of publications
Occasional translation and transcription
Compiling and emailing of Brief Important News on Tibet
At times participate in organizing workshops
Qualification:
Graduate and above
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Tibetan
Computer skills to manage website
Experience in research work
Candidate with a good academic record, capable of independent action and initiative, with responsible attitude to all aspects of the work and a strong commitment to serve the agendas of the Centre would be given higher preference.
Gross salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
The appointment will be available as of 17 October 2011 and, after a six-month period of probation, would become an on-going appointment on yearly contract basis. The closing date for applications is September 30th, 2011. Suitable candidates will be contacted before October 6th, 2011. Applicants who haven’t received a response by October 6th, 2011 should regard their application as unsuccessful. Interviews will be conducted in English & Tibetan on October 7th 2011 at TPPRC in New Delhi. It is mandatory to bring all the original supporting documents including your R.C. and Green Book at the time of interview.

Tibetan Scholarship
Two types of scholarship available from Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. Last year more then 20 Tibetan students in Karnataka received these scholarships. Scholarship recipients have to apply for renewal every year.
1. POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP for PUC, Bachelor degree, Master degree, Vocational and Diploma courses. Amount Rs. 3,000 per year. Last date: 10 Aug 2011
2. MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP for professional courses in under-graduate and post-graduate. Amount Rs. 30,000 per year. Last date: 10 Sept 2011
