Losar cards & Tibetan new year cards

Losar is the Tibetan word for New Year which means new fresh. Losar is the most important holiday in Tibet. Losar is celebrated for 15 days, with the main celebrations on the first three days.

During the month before Losar, Tibetan households are cleaned, and the eight auspicious symbols and other signs are drawn on walls with white powder. In monasteries, during the last days of the year the several protector deities are honored with devotional rituals.

Tibetans also sends Losar greeting cards to their friends and relatives few days before the losar. Here are some of the Losar card or Tibetan new year cards which you can send to your friends and relatives.
